Take'n a few days to get my head around it. Still hard to put it in words, but I wouldn't have gotten out of high school alive if it wasn't for Dave. Can't count how many times he stepped in on my behalf. Kept me out of a lot of shit. Some would say I survived high school in spite of it all, but what do they know?

Dave I know you are no longer with us in body but in Spirit you will always be. To Brian And posie and the rest of the family my prayers go out to all of you. Dave I remember we working together down Virgina and you and I drove home together 99% of the time those talks I will never forget we had our serious talks and our women talks they were both fun But I when it was serious you listened I told you from the heart and I can say and proud to you never showed me disrespect. This is a hard time for all of us espeacially for your family god be with all of you. Brian step up and take on that role as the uncle that has to be a farther for his brother family takes care of each other and I know you will do a fine job. If you need anything I know it has been a while but brother I will never forget you as well you call me to talk or for what ever you hear me 724-518-5127 all are in my prayers and David Gods speed.LOVE YOU MAN

It's still so hard for me to believe you're really gone! My heart is still so heavy. So many memories have been coming back to me. More than 25 yrs of memories. Memories that I will keep with me always. You are sadly missed, Dave! Rest Peacefully, my friend!

This all seems so surreal. I can remember Franklin Elementary since kindergarten, riding bikes all around & everywhere, hanging out at my house with Brian & Jen Guard, the good & bad in high school, the nights on my porch with Danny in New Salem, & the countless IM & texts over the past years!! I'm going to miss the weekly hello & checking up on me & letting me know you're okay. No worries, friend, I've always loved & cared for you regardless. Have a drink with Danny for me & hug your Dad tight!!! You'll be missed here & always loved!!
