William Jennings Byrant Lytle, age 71 of Surfside Beach, SC, formerly of Perryopolis, Pa passed away on Tuesday March 18, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Monogahela, Pa on October 28, 1953 a son of James Earl and Frances Zukauckas Lytle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Lytle.
Bill graduated from Ringgold High School grew up in Donora and resided in Perryopolis. He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force and was a member of St Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa and St Michaels Catholic Church, Surfside Beach, S.C. He worked for Creative Cabinets and retired from Walmart. Bill was a baseball pitcher in high school and loved to hunt, fish and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers on television.
William is survived by his wife, Diana Jean Kallok Lytle; daughter, Nicole Lytle Ince; son, Shawn Lytle and wife Jenna; stepchildren: Gregory Poling and wife Jennifer, Kenneth Poling and wife Alica, Theresa Baynes and significant other Jeffrey Camp, Jeanne Pascoe and husband Todd; 23 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. brother, David Lytle and wife Lois; sisters: Nancy Lytle Armstrong, Rebecca “Becky” Lytle DeLucca and husband Earnest.
Bill’s family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2025 in The Blair Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa where his funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Reverend Oleh Seremchuk, celebrant. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist R. C. Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa. with full military rites and honors being accorded by the AMVETS POST 103, Hopwood, Pa.
