Wanda (Baker) Welling

Wanda Welling age 93, of Canton, Michigan formerly of Perryopolis, PA, passed away on January 21, 2017, She was born in Perry Township on March 23, 1923, a daughter of William M. Baker and Clara R. Hixonbaugh Baker.

Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Theodore, loving father of Damon (Karen) and the late Gary; dearest sister of brothers:  Duane and James Baker.

She was part of Daughter of American Colonies, Perry Player and Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.

She is a, proud grandma of Andrea (Bill) Gillies and Ted (Diane) Welling; great grandma of Sam, Amelia, Kathleen and Derek.

Wanda’s family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January  26, 2017 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Inc., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA 15473. 

Additional visitation will take place on Friday, January 27, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. the hour of her funeral service with Pastor Derek Platt, officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA.
