Virginia (Jean) Elaine (Salyers) Bubnash

Virginia (Jean) E. Salyers Bubnash of Perryopolis passed away on Thursday July 4, 2024 at the age of 94. She was born in Mapleton, Pa, a daughter of Robert and LeNora Davis Salyers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bubnash; brother, Robert B. Salyers, Jr.; sisters: Agnes Sinclair, Helen Clickovich and Margaret Dean.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Cathy Pieper and husband Rick of Pittsburgh, Pa.; grandchildren: Meredith Webb and husband Mike of Pittsburgh, Pa., James Pieper and wife Emily of Lafayette, Colorado; greatgrandchildren: Charlie and Owen Webb; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 4 – 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2024 in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024 in the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 102 Railroad Street, Perryopolis, Pa with Rev. Father Oleh Seremchuk as celebrant. (Everyone please meet at the church)

Interment will follow in the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa.
