Thomas “Tom” Brison Sesler, age 91 of Flatwoods, PA, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Hillside Estates Suites, Connellsville, Pa. He was born on April 12, 1933 in Merrittstown, PA, the son of Alan and Frances Garee Sesler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Hall Sesler; son, Robin Sesler and his wife, Carol; five sisters: Alice “Renie” Dean, Mary Lou “Lorenze” Rupp, Betty Truninger, Phyllis Mae Stricklin, Elizabeth “Libby” Stephens.
Tom previously lived in N. Ridgeville, Ohio while employed by General Electric in their computer software department. After retirement he and his wife moved back to Flatwoods where they made their home.
Left to cherish his memory are his niece, Ellen Hall; great niece, Deena Peffer and her husband Wayne; great great nephew, Wayne Peffer, III all of Dawson; sister in law, Scarlett Mayfield of Huntington Beach, CA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The people who were there for Tom in his final years were: his nephew William Terry Hall (until his death) and his wife Ellen; great friends to the end, Ellis and Pat Stewart; great nephew, Wayne A. Peffer II and his wife Deena; great great nephew, Wayne A. Peffer, III. Tom’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Hillside Estates Suites for the wonderful care given to Tom.
Tom’s family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA. Followed by a graveside service will be held at Green Ridge Memorial Park chapel, Connellsville, PA.
