Susan Jane (Kessler) Gibson

Susan Jane Gibson, 77 of Perryopolis, formerly of Grindstone passed away on May 5, 2026 at Ahn West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born on June 7, 1948 in Uniontown, Pa, a daughter of Edward and Mary Pinkney Kessler.

In addition to her parents, she was receded in death by her husband, Charles Gibson; two sisters: Patricia Dwyer and Brenda LaRew; grandson, Caden Harn. 

Susan is survived by her children: Terri Harn and Mark Gibson (Robin);

grandchildren: Seth Harn (Heidi), Devin Harn, Charles “Chaz” Gibson, Chase Harn, Nathanial “Nate” Gibson; great grandchildren: Bradley Harn, Braylee Harn; siblings: Linda Gibson (James), Mary Lou Funk, Karen Hutchenson, Darla Rockwell (John), Eddie Kessler (Betsy), Jamie Duncan; numerous nieces and nephews.   

She enjoyed spending time with her family especially cooking at the holidays, visiting the casinos and scratching off lottery tickets.

A Celebration of Life will be held June 28th, 2026 at the Sons of Italy, Perryopolis, Pa.

In honoring Susan’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
