Sheryl Arlene Peters

Our loving mother, Sheryl Arlene (Seykoski) Peters, 81 of Wickhaven sadly passed away on June 4, 2024 at her home with her loving and supportive family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Catherine (Tatkoski) Seykoski. Beloved wife of the late James William Peters and beloved mother of the late James Christopher Peters.

Sheryl was Catholic by faith. She was also co-owner of S & J Lounge in Star Junction.

She is survived by her, daughter and caregiver, Laurie Zelesnik; son-in-law, Michael; daughter, Patricia Ford; son, Ricki Peters and his wife Peggy; daughter, Linda Hawker and her husband Ross; grandchildren: Ricki Peters, II, Zackary Zelesnik, Robert Ford, III, Benjamin Ford, Ashley Peters, Jacob Zelesnik, Nicholas Zelesnik, Colby Hawker, Kaitlyn Peters, Noah Hawker, Ethan Hawker; brother, Leonard Kurowsky and his wife LouAnn.

During her working years she was known as a very hard worker and caring person. The things she enjoyed were laughing, talking, playing games with her family and watching the Price Is Right. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten..

In honoring Sheryl’s wishes a private family viewing was held at the Blair Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Perryopolis, Pa.
