Samuel “Sam” Lewis Visnosky, age 48, of Dunbar, PA lost his battle with cancer and passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at home with his loved ones by his side. He was born on May 11, 1976 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, a son of Lester Lewis Visnosky and Debby Gail (McWilliams) Visnosky.
Left to cherish his memory are: his beloved wife of 24 years, Rose Marie (Howard) Visnosky; four children: Travis, Summer, MaKenna, and Sofia; a brother, Adrian Visnosky and his wife Shawna; a sister, Kristen Visnosky.
Sam was a lifelong member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children camping, being an auto mechanic, a D.J. and was a self-taught drummer. He was last employed by the Fayette County Housing Authority where he worked as a Technician.
There will be no public viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (267 McClellandtown Road, Uniontown, PA 15401) on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 2PM with Brother Michael Livingston officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to help the family defray expenses may send donations to 28 Cherry Farm Lane, Dunbar, PA 15431.
