Peter Eugene Loya

Peter Eugene Loya, age 51 of Dawson, PA passed away on Monday morning, January 9, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pensacola, Florida on August 29, 1965 a son of Eugene Sylvester Loya and Nikolette E. Medvigy Loya.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Angela Loya; son, Kevin Loya of Pittsburgh; daughter, Kathryn Loya of Dawson; step son, Brandon Kalp of Acme, PA; brothers: Victor Loya and his wife Teresa of Denver, Colorado, Alex Loya of Dawson and Gregory Loya and his wife Heather of St. Augustine, Florida; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Peter served his country in the Army Reserves. He was employed by Nelson Wire and Steel as a safety manager. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, being a Pittsburgh sports enthusiast, nature and the outdoors.

Peter’s family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 6-8 p.m.in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA. Interment is private.
