Nancy Alice (Martin) Sumey

Nancy Alice Sumey, age 74,  of Franklin Twp., Vanderbilt, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown, PA with her loving family by her side.  She was born on February 8, 1945 in Dawson, a daughter of Charles and Dora Lytle Martin.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Brashear “Bish” Sumey; children: Katherine “Kitty” Swink and her husband, Bruce of Franklin Twp., Benita Thompson and her husband Curt of Scenery Hill, Brashear “Bishie” Sumey and his wife, Nicole of Franklin Twp.; two grandsons: Zacharey Benson and his wife, Leah, Nicholas Benson and his fiancée Sammi Cooper; two great granddaughters: Lily and Lilah; two brothers.

In honoring Nancy’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service.

Nancy’s professional funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Perryopolis, PA.
