Martin “Marty” David Markovitch, age 55 of Rostraver Township passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 11, 2024. He was born January 5, 1969 in Monongahela, a son of Martin J. and Janet M. Reho Markovitch.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Chad Markovitch; daughter, Lindsey Markovitch; step daughter, Katie Leer; grandchildren: Isabelle, Lyla; brother, Brian Markovitch (Holly); nieces: Tiffany Markovitch, Hayley Cutlip; nephew, Shane Markovitch; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins; great nieces; great nephews; very close and dear friends who all held a special place in his life.
Marty attended Belle Vernon Area High School and Vocational School. He held multiple jobs working at Billock Garages as a mason, SuperValu as a laborer, Lowe’s in delivery, and Perry Feed Mill. He loved the wilderness including hunting, fishing, trapping and walks in the woods. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him.
Marty’s professional funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Blair Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Perryopolis, Pa.
