Lois Diane Rice, 73 of Lemont Furnace passed away on December 9th at home peacefully with her family by her side. She was born November 25, 1945 in Farmington, PA the daughter of Willard and Mildred Rosenburger Rice.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Rice, Ronald Rice and one sister, Marie Barbabella.
Diane was a thoughtful and caring person who loved spending time with her family and loved the game of bingo.
She is survived by one daughter Cheryl and Husband Joseph Stoken, Sr. of Lemont Furnace; one son, Daniel Rice, Sr. and fiancé Clarissa Koplets of Uniontown, PA; Nine grandchildren: Andrea Capan, Joseph Stoken Jr, Alexander Saluga, James Stoken, Danielle Rice, Daniel Rice Jr, Preslie Stoken, Jakova Koplets and Leanna Rice; Five great grandchildren: Lucas Capan, Brayden Saluga, Avah Saluga, Elijah Rice, and Nikolai Saluga; One sister, Barbara Guy of Cumberland, Maryland; one brother, Thomas Rice and wife Donna of Farmington, PA; several nieces and nephews.
Lois’ funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Perryopolis, PA.
