Kathryn M.(DeStasio) McCall

Surrounded by family, Thursday July 1, 2021, of Eighty-Four, PA formally of Baldwin.  Kathryn was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clyo (Mack) McCall; mother of William (Cheryl) McCall of Kendall, NY Annette (Donnie) Goulder and Kathryn (Joe) Diener; mother-in-law of Nancy Linn McCall. Loving grandmother of Beth (Dave) Stump; William (Karen) McCall, Jr. Cedie (Rick) Collins and Katie Diener of San Diego, CA; great grandmother to Kaylin and Cara Rose Stump, and Stephanie (Derek Morrison) Collins. Great-Great Grandmother of Ella Collins.

Preceded in death by parents Antonio and Giovanna DeStasio (DeStout). Brothers; John, Carmin, James (Chippy), Frank, Michael, Louis, Paul, and Pat DeStout, Sisters; Josephine DeMor, Angeline Untener, Mary Farrari, and Antoinette Beley.  Also survived by dear friend, Cindy Balko. Will be greatly missed by nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

She was a graduate of Taylor Allderdice, and completed studies at the Fashion and Design Institute, and a retired seamstress. She proudly served in the Marine Corp from 1943-1945.  Kathryn will be remembered as a person who cared for so many family and friends in their time of need.  In her later years she loved her independence until she reached the age of 99. She enjoyed sewing for her family and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.  Puzzling up till her last days,

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Kathryn’s professional funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Perryopolis, PA.
