John Malcolm Palonder

John Malcolm Palonder, age 67, of Perryopolis passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife of 25 years and his loving family on Thursday, November 21, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 19, 1952 a son of J. Richard and Janet McTyre.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Palonder.

John was adored by his friends, family, and co-workers.

He was an amazing husband, father, and Pop Pop. He touched the lives of everyone he encountered.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne Varesio Palonder; daughters: Jessica (Tommy) Emricko, Alisha (Jason) Solomon, Tonya (Ryan) Baluch, Stephanie Hixenbaugh and fiancée Vince Conti; grandchildren: Morgan, Lauren, Noah, Logan, Nathan, Alivia and Ella; brothers: Robert and Roland Palonder; sister, Lou Ann Palonder.

John’s family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA where his funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jason Lamar, Pastor of Faith Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment is private.
