Helen L. (Ondrako) Bordas

Helen L. Ondrako Bordas, age 93, of Perryopolis passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in The Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela, PA. She was born in Mammouth, PA on October 17, 1925, a daughter of Albert and Ruth Brechbill Ondrako.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty six years, John E. Bordas, Sr.; son, John E. Bordas, Jr.; sister, Maryjane Buttermore.

Helen was a lifelong resident of Perryopolis. She was a registered nurse employed by Uniontown Hospital.

She is survived by her son, Joseph C. Bordas and his wife Debra of Rostraver Twp.; grandsons: Jonathan Bordas of Perryopolis, PA and Brian Bordas of Rostraver Twp.

In honoring Helen’s wishes there was no public visitation. She was interred on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in St. John the Baptist R. C. Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA.

Helen’s professional funeral services were entrusted to the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Perryopolis, PA.
