Gregory Haluschak age 48, of Star Junction passed away on Wednesday evening, May 16, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side after a long battle with ALS. He was born in Connellsville on September 18, 1969 a son of Nicholas Haluschak, Sr. and Irene Uhrin Haluschak.
Greg was a life long resident of Star Junction. He was a member of St. John the Baptist R. C. Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
In addition to his father Greg was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Corbett.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother; wife, Mechelle Miller: children: Jesse James and Amy Nevaeh both at home; siblings: Marie Bobbs (Ronald) of New Stanton, Valerie (Christopher) Little of Temple GA, Michelle (Eric) Piotrowski of Villa Rica, GA, Nicole (Dave) Panicucci of Vanderbilt, Nicholas Jr. (Sue) Haluschak of Dravosburg, PA.
Greg’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 in the Blair Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA. where Prayers of Transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist R. C. Church with Father Anthony Ditto as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
St. John the Baptist R. C. Church members will pray the rosary in the funeral home at 3 p.m. on Friday.
