Florence A. (Dernovsek) Boniella

Florence A. (Dernovsek) Boniella age 91, of Wickhaven, PA, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2017 in Mt. Macrina Manor Uniontown, PA. She was born on July 22, 1925 in Wickhaven, PA, daughter of Frank Dernovsek and Mary (Krall) Dernovsek.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Albert Francis; brother, Frank Dernovsek; sisters: Mary Stimmell, Amelia Messner  and infant Bertha.

She is survived by her husband of sixty seven years, Albert R. Boniella;  daughters:  Marlene A. Olinzock  and her husband Ben of Perryopolis , Christine Adams and her husband Paul of Stahlstown, PA; son, David Boniella of Wickhaven; grandchildren: Maureen Olinzock Wolfe and her husband Mike of Pittsburgh, Marla Olinzock and her husband Darren of Newell;  great grandson, Avery Matthews of Newell; several nieces and nephews.

Florence was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church Perryopolis, PA and enjoyed flower gardening.

Florence’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA, 15473 where Prayers of Transfer will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Anthony Ditto as Celebrant.  Interment to follow in West Newton Cemetery., West Newton, PA.

The Rosary will be prayed for the departed soul of Florence at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
