Eleanor (Peach) Wilson, age 91 of Perryopolis passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Lafayette Manor in Uniontown, PA. She was born on December 8, 1926 in Roscoe, PA a daughter of William S. Peach and Isabella Valentine Peach.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-seven years Ronald J. Wilson; brother, William R. Peach; sister, Marjorie Cappalonga.
Eleanor enjoyed music and was a past president of the Mon Valley Lowrey Organ Society which gave concerts and played for many nursing homes and high rises in the area.
Eleanor is survived by her daughters: Sunny(Charles) Fields of Newton Falls, OH, Carol (Jerry) Farkas and Janice (Edward) Bubnash all of Perryopolis; grandchildren: Melissa (Dan) Streitferdt and Kevin Fields all of Newton Falls, OH, Jennifer (Ryan) Askey of Pittsburgh, Amanda (Adam) Kosport of Perryopolis; one great granddaughter, Ashley (Ben) Heverly of Lake Milton, OH; one great grandson, Hudson Kosport of Perryopolis; one great great grandson, Lane Heverly of Lake Milton, OH; several nieces and nephews.
Eleanor’s family will receive friends from 10 -11 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA followed by A Celebration of Eleanor’s Life at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Lyons, officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA. Eleanor and her husband, Ronald J. Wilson, who served his country in the Navy will both be interred. Therefore, full military rites and honors will be accorded by the V.F.W. Post Gold Star 7023 and American Legion Post 752 for him.
