Edward Hoholick

Edward Andrew Hoholick, age 88 of Star Junction passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA. He was born on April 6, 1935, a son of Andrew and Anna Lesho Hoholick.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosmary Toth Hoholick; brother, Thomas..

Ed graduated from Perry-Lower Tyrone High School in 1953. He proudly served his country in the U S Army from 1958 to 1960 and was employed by PPG Industries and Westmoreland Supply Company. Ed was a lifetime member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church in Perryopolis where he served as a cantor since 1960. He helped at many church functions, Edward also helped at St. Mary’s Byzantine Church in Sabraton, WV. He loved to cook, was happy to help anyone who needed it. Gardening was his passion. The Steelers and Penguins were his favorite teams.

Ed is survived by  his sister in law Ellen McCabe; cousins: Lois Winslow, David Puskar, Lynne Lesho, Rebecca Rowbottom; six Godchildren and many friends.

At his request he will be cremated and have a memorial service at a later date.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St Nicholas Byzantine Church Cemetery, Perryopolis with Father James Frasier as celebrant. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
