Douglas D. Whalen

Douglas D. Whalen, age 62 of Jeanette, Pa went to be with his Lord on Friday, October 18, 2024. He was born on July 31, 1962, a son of James R. and Paricia Dunn Whalen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Patrick “Moe” Whalen and James Whalen.

Doug graduated from Jeanette Senior High Scholl, Class of 1980. He then went into the military serving 22 years, one year in Iraq (2004-2005). Doug’s love was: Pittsburgh sports teams and his dogs. He was loved by his aunt, uncle and cousins.

Doug was interred on Friday, November 1, 2024 in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Doug’s professional funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Perryopolis, PA.
