Dennis Albert Chaw

Dennis Albert Chaw age 74 of Perryopolis, PA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 15, 2026 in WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 23, 1951 in Connellsville, PA a son of Albert and Violet M. Fields Chaw.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Lee Means Chaw.

Denny was employed by the Perryopolis Auto Auction for over forty years. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Perryopolis. He enjoyed cutting grass and cleaning cars especially his 2019 green Mustang.

Denny is survived by his beloved wife, Shelva Clark; son, Justin Albert Chaw of Perryopolis; daughter, Melissa Hice and her husband Doug of Greensburg, PA; grandchildren: Abigail and Emma Hice; brother, Scott Chaw and his wife Kathy of Perryopolis; step children: Sheila Bell, Kerri Clark; step grandson, Nickolas Stash; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Denny’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA where his funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Interment is private.
