Carolina M (Mellotti) Welling

Carolina M. Welling, age 100, passed away August 30, 2024, in Medina, Ohio. She was born July 20, 1924, in Layton, Pennsylvania, to Camillo and Francesca (nee Orsini) Mellotti.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Welling and son, Ronald.

Carolina raised seven children (three sons and four daughters). Her family meant everything to her, and she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  

Her legacy will live on in her children: Donna, Norman, Eleanor, Dennis, Darlene and Connie; her seventeen grandchildren; and too many great-grandchildren to count.

The family will welcome friends on Wednesday from Noon to 2:00 pm the hour of her funeral service in the Blair Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA. Interment will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or Hospice of Medina County, Ohio.
