Betty Jane Farrow Yenchick, age 83 of Layton passed away at her home on Friday, November 8, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 30, 1940 in Layton, a daughter of Grant and Nellie Farrow
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Yenchick.
Betty is survived by three daughters: Sandy Liba and her husband Lubo of McMurray, Joy Lee Tremonte and her husband Ed of Cape Coral, FL, Kristy Molnar and her husband J.J. of Madison, OH; four grandchildren: Ashley (Chris) Chobot, Christopher (Kate) Tremont, Andrew Molnar, Autumn Molnar; one great grandson, Lorenzo Luca Chobot; her cat, Ginger.
Betty retired from Frazier School District after many years of service as a secretary. She was famous for her Betty buns.
Betty’s family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2024 and Monday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA where her funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday with Pastor Michael Lyons, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA.
