Ronald Dale Rabatin

Ronald Dale Rabatin, age 69 of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh and Perryopolis, PA passed away suddenly on February 20, 2019. He was born on August 23, 1949 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Anthony A. and Marie T. Rabatin.

Ron is survived by his wife, Katherine of Tampa, Florida; a brother Mark, Sr. (Sandy) and sisters Antoinette and Madonna (Michael Oakes) of Northern Virginia; brother-in-law, Sean Conway, four stepchildren, three nephews and one step-grandson.

Ron was a loyal employee of Sears Holdings in Pittsburgh for many years and Tampa until its recent closing in December 2018.

Although Florida was his home, Ron was a true Pennsylvania boy.  He was always in the know about breaking news from Perryopolis and Pittsburgh.  We will miss his quirky jokes, quick calls to check in and his love for family and friends.

Family and friends will be received from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist R. C. Church on Saturday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
