Phyllis Darlene (Herbert) Sparrow, age 77 of Smock, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was born in Bitner on June 23, 1941, a daughter of James Herbert and Marie Goodwin Herbert.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Charles H. “Sparky” Sparrow, Jr.

She was a life long member of the Pleasant View Presbyterian Church, Smock, PA.

She is survived by her two sons: David and Robert Sparrow; daughter, Donna Show; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

Phyllis’ family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018, in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA where her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, with Pastor Laura Blank, officiating. Interment to follow in Pleasant View Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Pleasant View Presbyterian Church 533 Royal Road, Smock, PA 15480.
