Pamela S. Posvech

Pamela Sue Posvech, age 58, of Perryopolis, PA. passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in Uniontown Hospital with her loving mother by her side.   She was born on May 16, 1958 in Paso Robels, California the daughter of Madeline (Zapach) Posvech and the late Robert E. Posvech.

Pam worked for K Mart for 39 years and part time at Gene & Boots. She loved to fish.

In addition to her mother she is survived by two uncles: John Posvech of Uniontown and Vincent Posvech of Masontown; two aunts: Eleanor Beregi of Star Junction, Martha Zapach of Uniontown; several cousins, nieces and nephews; best friends: Joyce Lathi, Laurie Server and Jodi.

Pamela’s family will receive friends on Friday, April 28, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA, where Prayers of Transfer will be said Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, PA.  with Father Anthony Ditto as celebrant.

Interment follows in St John the Baptist Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA

The Rosary will be prayed in the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. Friday.

Pam’s mom would like to extend a special thank you to Fayette Home Care, Uniontown hospital staff. Gene & Boots staff and K Mart employees for all the wonderful care and concern shown during Pam’s illness. Also thank you to the wonderful friends who offered transportation for doctor’s visits; I’m blessed with your kindness and my heart overflows with gratitude. Thank you.
