Carolyn Theresa (Orsini) Kalinowski

Carolyn Theresa (Orsini) Kalinowski, age 84 of Perryopolis passed away at home with her loving family by her side on June 3, 2018. She was born in Perryopolis on September 1, 1933 a daughter of Alfonso Orsini and Olivia Severi Orsini.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis “Frank” Xavier Kalinowski Sr.

Carolyn was a life long resident of Perryopolis. She was a member of St John the Baptist Church, the Perryopolis Travelers Club, the Perryopolis Senior Citizens and the Vernon Bells. She enjoyed traveling with her best friend, Monna Johnson.

She is survived by her loving children: daughter, Sherry Ann Rock and her husband David of Perryopolis and son, Frank X. Kalinowski Jr. and his wife Janet of Nazareth, PA; grandchildren: David Rock, Peyton Rock, Gage Rock, Ali Kalinowski, Kyle Kalinowski and his fiancée Hannelore; great granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth; brothers: Alfred Orsini and his wife, Catherine of Perryopolis, John Severi of Scottdale; many nieces and nephews. 

Carolyn’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday June 8, 2018 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA where Prayers of Transfer will be said at 10 a.m. on Friday, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St John the Baptist Church with Father Anthony W. Ditto, officiating. Interment will follow in St John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA.

Members of St John the Baptist Church will pray the Rosary at 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.
