Joseph Kulikoski

Joseph Kulikoski, age 87 of Virgin Run, Perry Township, Pa., passed away on Thursday, January 18th 2024.

He was born on November 11th 1936, the son of Joseph and Stella (Gancher) Kulikoski.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Ella Mae; three siblings: Helen Fernandez, Mary Myers, and Gladys Fernandez.

He is survived by his two children: Annette and husband Nick Olsakovsky, Joe and wife Selena Kulikoski; proud Pappy to his six grandchildren: Chuck Hunyady, Nicole and husband Kevin Jones. Larrissa and husband Tom Stephens, Joe Jr and wife Alyssa Kulikoski, Nathan Kulikoski and Logan Kulikoski; two great grandchildren: Cohen and Ella Jones, and one on the way in April; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

He has been retired from Perry Township Municipality, and prior to that Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, a few other odd trucking jobs. But his favorite enjoyment in life was being a life-long farmer where he devoted almost his whole life: milking cows, growing produce and raising beef cattle. He loved the farm life and the serenity it provided to his family also, the wonderful neighbors who are known as friends.

Joe (Pap), will be sadly missed but never forgotten. He had the biggest heart and has warmed us all by his love! In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to use those funds to break bread and share memories with your family and loved ones. Life is short and once it is over, WELL you know, it’s too late! Joe’s family will receive friends from 2-8 pm on Tuesday January 22 2023 at the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 305 Rear Independence St, Perryopolis, PA where addition visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Wednesday, followed by a funeral service with Pastor Mike Lyons, officiating. Interment will follow in St Nicholas Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa.
