Virginia Lee (Pike) Barnes

Virginia Lee (Pike) Barnes age 83 of Star Junction passed away Friday, October 9, 2015. Virginia was born on February 16, 1932 in Star Junction a daughter of William Thomas Pike and Josephine (Reel) Pike.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Earl G. Barnes.

Virginia is survived by her children: daughter, Cindy Gallik and her husband John Robert of North Huntingdon, son, Tom Barnes and his wife Darlene of West Mifflin; grandchildren: Brandon Barnes, Jessica Barnes and Taylor Gallik; sister, Lois Jenkins of Petaluma, CA.

Virginia’s family will receive friends today, Sunday October, 11, 2015 from 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Inc. 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA. Additional visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 until 11 AM, the hour of her funeral service with the Rev. Robert Rabenstein officiating.  Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park , Brier Hill, PA.
