Rhys L. Ramsier

Rhys L. Ramsier, age 78 of Star Junction passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in his home. He was born on March 1, 1938 a son of Franklin Paul Ramsier and Gertrude Myrtle Brocco Ramsier.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by infant sister Beverly Ramsier; brothers Mahlon E. Ramsier, James G. Ramsier; brother-in-law, Donald Pittavino.

He is survived by a sister, Delta P. Pittavino of Smithton, PA. brothers: Robert L. Ramsier (Molly) of Kissimmee Fla., Bruce D. Ramsier (Laurene) of Perryopolis, sisters-in-law: Barbara J. Ramsier of Canton OH, Dorothy Ramsier of Perryopolis and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Rhys’ family will receive friends from Noon to 1:00 PM the hour of his funeral service on Thursday, January 12, 2017, in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA 15473.

Interment will follow in Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery, Vanderbilt, PA.
