Naomi "Ruth" Pirlo

Naomi Ruth Pirlo, age 79 of Layton passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Mon Valley Hospital, Monongahela, PA. She was born on December 4, 1937 in Clearville, PA a daughter of William R. Clingerman and Melva O. Shipley Clingerman.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony James Pirlo and a sister, Karen Torrence.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Kimberly A. Wingrove; granddaughter, Lacie A. Wingrove; sister, Eileen N. Gulish and her husband Michael; all of Layton;

She also leaves behind her “side kick” and “best canine buddy” Oliver.

Ruth’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA 15473 where additional visitation will take place on Wednesday from 10 -11 a.m., the hour of her funeral service with Rev. Melissa Snyder, officiating. Interment to follow in Barren Run Cemetery, Smithton, PA.
