Lucille R. (Manderino) Fincik

Lucy Rose “Maderino” Fincik, age 95, of Perryopolis passed away, Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, PA. She was born on November 12, 1921 in Monessen, a daughter of Frank Manderino and Concetta Maderino.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell E. Fincik; brother, Ned and sisters: Mary and Elizabeth.

She is survived by a niece, Melaine Falbo of Greensburg.

Lucy was devout Catholic by faith and a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church of Perryopolis for over 50 years. She was retired from Murphy’s Department Store where she was a supervisor. She was also a homemaker.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA 15473 where Prayers of Transfer will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 2 in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Ronald Simboli as Celebrant.

The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m.

Interment to follow in Holy Name Cemetery, Monessen, PA.

Memorial donations are welcome, made payable to the St John the Baptist R.C. Church, Perryopolis, PA.
