Larry Stephen Rabatin

Larry Stephen “Ro” Rabatin age 60, of Star Junction, PA, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on May 20, 1955, the son of Edward and the late Bernice (Gilland) Rabatin of Star Junction, PA.

He was the beloved husband for 37 years of Betty Lou (Bonucci) Rabatin, loving father to Jacob (Andrea) Rabatin of Star Junction, PA and Jonathan (Ashley) Rabatin of West Mifflin, PA, grandfather to Colby Ro Rabatin; brother to Judy (David) Taylor of Cranberry Township, PA and Gary (Susan) Rabatin of Belle Vernon, PA.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Larry lived in Star Junction his entire life and graduated from Frazier High school.  He worked for US Steel Irving Works and later Linden Hall Golf Course for 27 years.  Larry was a passionate outdoorsman and especially loved fly fishing.

Known as “Ro” by his friends he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a great friend.

Larry’s family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Inc., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA, where a Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at 8:00 PM. Pastor Melissa Snyder officiating.  Interment will be private.
