Joshua Dalton Potter

Joshua Dalton Potter, age 21 of Perryopolis, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 after a courageous battle with Ewings Sarcoma. He was born on September 12, 1994 in Pittsburgh, PA a son of Gregory Lee Potter and Cheryl Ann (Russell) Potter.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dalton Gene Potter,

Josh is survived by his loving parents: Gregory Lee Potter and Cheryl Ann (Russell) Potter; brother, Russell L. Potter and his girlfriend, Chelsea Clem; maternal grandparents: Bruce Gene Russell and Emma Jean Russell; paternal grandmother: Carol Potter; girlfriend, Megan Campbell; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Josh was a 2013 Frazier High School graduate and marching band member. He was an Eagle Scout and an extreme train enthusiast. He enjoyed playing “taps” for veteran’s services for the V.F.W. Post 7023.

He attended Westmoreland County Community College. 

Josh’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA where his funeral service will take place that evening at 8 p.m. with Lay Minister Ross Ackinclose, officiating.
