Josephine (Ludwick) Hancharik

Josephine (Ludwick) Hancharik, age 96 of Perryopolis, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, PA.  She was born on June 10, 1921, in Star Junction, PA, the daughter of Frank and Josephine Ludwick.

Josephine was Catholic by faith and a member of St John the Baptist R.C. Church in Perryopolis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George; daughters: Nancy and Diana; a son, Terry; grandchildren: Billie and Jamie; brothers: Frank, Mike, Albert, Leo, Alex and a sister, Kay.

Josephine is survived by a son, George; grandchildren:  JoAnn, Jodie, Eddie, Kimberly, Jennifer, Darrin, Richard, Lisa, Lori, Scott, Diana Jo, Robbie, Terry; several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedisys Health Care and Highlands Health Center for the wonderful care Josephine received.

Josephine’s professional funeral arrangements are private and are entrusted to the care of the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa.
