Josephine (Jablonsky) Beattie

Josephine Beattie, age 90 of Perryopolis, PA passed away February 17, 2017 in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, PA. She was born on May 6, 1926 in Daiseytown, PA,  a daughter of Stanley and Alice Jablonsky.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Beattie; brother, Stanley and sister, Stella.

Josephine is survived by her son, Clarence “Ben” Beattie and his fiancée Diane Humbert, both of Perryopolis; daughter, Linda Budd and her husband Kenny of Star Junction; two granddaughters: Kimmi Bailey and her husband Jeff of Smock, Ashley Beattie of Dover, Delaware; one great granddaughter, Makaylah Bailey.

She was a caregiver for many years in the Perryopolis area.

Josephine’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA where her funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael Lyons, officiating. Entombment to follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
