Joanna Mae (Moskal) Griffith

Joanna “Joan” Mae (Moskal) Griffith, age 77 of Perryopolis, PA went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 10, 2017. She was born on August 28, 1939 in Whitsett, a daughter of John Moskal and Kathryn Melnyk Moskal.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonael Griffith; all of her siblings, sisters: Stephanie Mintus, Anne Pato, Margaret “Mary” Semancik, Julianna Sams, Janet “Jenny” Evon; brothers: Stephen Moskal, Joseph Moskal and Stanley Moskal.

A private graveside service will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery on Monday afternoon with Pastor Michael Lyons, officiating.

She is survived by her niece, Karen S. Kirchner and her husband Mark of Perryopolis.

Joan’s professional funeral services have been entrusted to the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Perryopolis, PA.
