Jackie R. Stauffer

Jackie Ray Stauffer, age 87 of Layton passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at his home. He was born on September 30, 1929 in Layton a son of John Henry Stauffer and Ella Grace Krause Stauffer.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Evelyn Truxel Stauffer; brother, Don Stauffer and his wife Bonnie of Layton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie served his country in the Navy. He was a barber in Perryopolis for many years and then worked at Freuhauf Corporation in Uniontown.

Jackie’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where his funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday with Rev. Don Bowser and Mike Vindivich, officiating. Interment to follow in Mt, Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA.
