Garry Allen Lech, Sr.

Lech, Sr., Garry Allen, age 77 of Perryopolis, PA passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 in Uniontown Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 12, 1940, a son of Joseph and Violet Ura Lech.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Lloyd Lech; sister, Elaine Lech.

Garry is survived by his daughter, Lynn Toretti and her husband Robert M. of Monongahela; son, Garry Allen Lech, Jr. and his wife Cecilia of Columbia Maryland; grandchildren: Sara Toretti David Lech and Hannah Lech; siblings: Joseph “Butch” Lech of Belle Vernon, Carilyn Rosier of West Newton, Christine Orlowski of Elizabeth, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind many valued friends who visited him almost daily.

Garry was employed by Copper Weld in Glassport, PA for over 20 years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. 

Garry’s family will receive friends on Thursday, November 30, 2017   from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Blair Lowther Funeral Home Rear 305 Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA where a Blessing Service will take place on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township PA.
