Elsie Marie (Stewart) Stewart

Elsie Marie Stewart, age 93 of Uniontown, formerly of West Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA. She was born in West Elizabeth, PA on February16, 1923, daughter of Charles Stewart and Elizabeth Hood Stewart.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Stewart and her sister, Ethel Stewart Gosney.

Elsie is survived by her nieces: Kathy Knight and her husband Tom of Dawson, PA, Janet Croyle and her husband Ralph of Clairton, PA; Nephews: Chuck Stewart and his wife, Carole of Butler, PA, Jim Stewart and his wife Debbie of Richmond, VA; daughter, Shirley McCarron and her husband Victor of Gibsonia, PA; several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Elsie’s family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA where her funeral service will take place a 7 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Boring, officiating. Interment will follow on Thursday in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, PA
