Dana Wesley Johnson

 Dana Wesley Johnson, 57, of Whitsett, PA
 formerly of Bronx, NY, passed away peacefully at home on
 Friday, October 27th  2017.
 He was preceded in death by his father,
 David Wesley Johnson, mother, Mary Giles Johnson and a
 brother, David Johnson.
  Dana was our soft spoken, gentle giant
  who was a very important member of both the Johnson and
 Giles families.  He graduated from Dewitt Clinton High
 School, Bronx, NY Class of 1979.  He then continued on
 to obtain a degree in Broadcast Communications from the
 University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which later blossomed
 into a 35 year career as a camera operator for many news
 stations including WSMV News 4 in Nashville. 
  In his free time, Dana enjoyed
 traveling, cooking and documenting his family through the
 art of photography. 
  Dana is survived by his brother Derek
 Johnson of Bronx, NY, along with a host of aunts, uncles,
 cousins and friends.
 Family and friends will be received at
 Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Whitsett, PA on Friday,
 November 3, 2017 from 5 pm until 8 pm for a memorial gathering
 and also Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10 am until 11 am,
 the hour of the service with Rev. Donna Jean Lowe
 officiating.

Dana’s professional funeral services were entrusted to the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Perryopolis, PA.
