Alice L. (Huntley) Ford

Alice L. (Huntley) Barricklow Ford, age 98 of Erie formerly of Perryopolis passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in St Vincent Hospital, Erie, PA with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 18, 1917 in Uniontown, PA a daughter of Benjamin F. Huntley and Charlotte Hough Huntley.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband,  Walter Lindsey Barricklow who died on December 23, 1947; second husband, Duane Ford who died on February 12, 1983; brothers: Harry Huntley and Donald Huntley.

Alice was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, Grindstone, PA and loved gardening.

Alice is survived by her son, Donald R. Barricklow and his wife Lois; grandsons: Lindsey Barricklow and his wife Beth, Daniel Barricklow and his wife Karen, all of Erie; great grandchildren: Riley Barricklow, Austin Barricklow, Chase Barricklow, Chad Seidler, Ashley Krahnke and Justin Hall; one great great granddaughter, Emma Krahnke; several nieces and nephews.

Alice’s family will receive friends on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Inc., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA and Friday until 1 pm, the hour of her funeral service with Rev Vann Walchock officiating.

Interment will follow in the Taylor Cemetery, Brownsville, PA
